Wait Time

Wait time is the billable period a chauffeur spends waiting for a passenger beyond an agreed grace period, charged at an hourly or per-minute rate.

Grace periods are typically shorter for point-to-point transfers than for airport arrivals, where flight delays are expected. Clear wait-time terms are a common source of billing disputes when they are not stated at booking.
