No-Show
A no-show is a booking where the passenger does not appear at the pickup location within the agreed grace period and cannot be reached, after which the operator may charge the full fare.
No-shows are costly because the vehicle and chauffeur were committed and the deadhead was incurred. No-show rates are a standard operational metric, and reducing them is a common reason operators adopt automated confirmations.
